Brian Czapla

Brian P. Czapla is a former Superintendent with 31 years of experience in Education. As Superintendent he transformed the climate and culture of his district by partnering with staff to embrace and implement new educational and operation systems to facilitate greater student learning. He has a background in enhancing learning environments by responsibly leveraging educational technologies. As a former Director of Education Technology for an award winning school district, Brian led his district in one of the first 1:1 iPad integrations in the State of Connecticut.

Brian also served as a University Supervisor at Central Connecticut State University where he coordinated and taught administrative interns working towards their school administration certification.  He has been the recipient of awards and recognitions including Schools of Distinction Award, Future Ready Schools, Connecticut Quality Improvement Award, Connecticut Association of School Librarians Administrator of the Year, and Connecticut Assistant Principal of the Year.

Brian earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Providence College, as well as his Master and Sixth Year Degrees in Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University.
