Andrew Doloff

Dr. Andrew Dolloff is a recognized district leader of more than 30 years who has led three National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence while being honored by state and regional organizations for his innovative and practical approaches to leadership. He has authored two books on school leadership (The Trust Imperative, 2022 and Leading with Intent, 2026), both of which were published by AASA and Bloomsbury Publishers and have led to speaking and consulting engagements throughout the U.S.
Recently completing 20 years as a superintendent of schools in two districts that were recognized for performance and efficiency, Andrew is an instructor of graduate education at the University of Southern Maine, where he has chaired the Educational Leadership Advisory Board since 2019. Andrew has also served on the International Advisory Board for the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Principals’ Center and as Board Chair for the New England School Development Council (NESDEC).
Andrew began his career as a chemistry teacher and basketball coach before enjoying more than 30 years as a school- and district-level administrator. He earned his Ph.D. in Public Policy and Educational Leadership from the Edmund S. Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine, where his dissertation was focused on resource allocation in higher-performing school districts.
