Greta Peay

Greta Peay joined the Clark County School District (CCSD) in 1987, following eight years of distinguished service with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System in Charlotte, North Carolina. Over the course of her career, she has dedicated thirty-nine years to the field of education.
Throughout her tenure, Dr. Peay served in a variety of impactful roles, including elementary school teacher and principal, middle school language arts teacher, Literacy and English Language Learner Specialist, Regional Professional Development Trainer for Southern Nevada, Director of Human Resources Support Staff Recruitment, and Director of Equity and Diversity Education. She retired from CCSD as the Chief Instructional Services Officer, where she oversaw a broad portfolio that included Assessment, Accountability, Research, and School Improvement; Adult and Alternative Education; Athletics and Fine Arts; Charter Schools; College and Career Readiness; Curriculum and Professional Development; English Language Learner Programs; Equity and Diversity Education; the Grants Department, including Title I and Title II federal programs; the Indian Education Opportunities Program; Magnet Schools; and the Student Services Division, including Special Education.
Dr. Peay is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Infinity: Diversity Matters. She also serves as the Deputy Executive Director of the Nevada Association of School Administrators (NASA). A passionate advocate for equity and social justice, she is equally devoted to her roles as a wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, and loyal friend.
Widely recognized for her commitment to developing others, Dr. Peay has mentored approximately 200 individuals over a 15-year period, supporting them in reaching their leadership potential. She is known for her energy, radiant smile, and trailblazing leadership.
